Written and directed by Ivan Kander, We Were None is a short comedic film about the people you spend 90% of your life with yet know nothing about. Welcome to a coporate ad agency in the thralls of the economic recession. Words like “restructuring” and “reconfiguring” have become euphemisms for layoffs and pinkslips. It’s a time where the word “creative” has become synonymous with “wasteful” and “expensive.” No one is safe. Everyone is scared.
We Were None tells the story of six people nearing the end of their coporate life, and depicts their journey towards accepting the scary bleakness of unemployment.
The movie was shot digitally on the Panasonic HMC-150 camera in the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia area.
